On September 22, 2022, the European Commission published 2 Directives (EU) 2022/1631 and (EU) 2022/1632 in its Official Journal (OJ), amending the EU RoHS Directive (2011/65/EU) Annex IV related exemptions.

The revisions are as follows:

Note: The list of exemptions of the RoHS 2.0 Directive is listed in Annexes III and IV of 2011/65/EU. Annex IV is the exemption clause for medical and monitoring equipment applications, and Annex III is the exemption clause for all electrical and electronic equipment applications. .
